Job Description – Loading & Unloading Supervisor

Experience: 2–5 years
Job Purpose
To supervise and manage loading and unloading activities of water tanks, pipes, fittings, raw materials, and finished goods while ensuring safe handling, accurate quantities, timely dispatch, and minimum product damage.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily loading of water tanks, pipes, fittings, and finished goods.
- Supervise unloading of raw materials, packaging materials, and incoming goods.
- Allocate manpower and monitor loaders/helpers for productivity and discipline.
- Ensure correct quantity, product size, colour, and customer-wise material is loaded.
- Ensure proper stacking and safe handling of pipes and water tanks to prevent damage.
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, warehouse, production, and dispatch teams.
- Verify loading quantities against dispatch documents.
- Maintain daily records of loading, unloading, manpower, vehicles,
shortages, and damages.
- Ensure proper tying/strapping and safe placement of products in vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle loading time and minimize vehicle waiting/turnaround time.
- Ensure workers follow PPE, safety, and material-handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the loading and dispatch area.
- Report product damage, shortages, accidents, and other operational issues to the manager.
- Support inventory verification and dispatch activities whenever required.
Qualifications & Experience
- 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, dispatch, loading/unloading, or manufacturing.
- Experience with plastic water tanks, PVC/HDPE pipes, fittings, or similar products will be an advantage. Send cv at
