Job Description

We are looking for a Supervisor – Gear Cutting to manage daily production activities, manpower and machine operations in the Gear Cutting Department.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily gear cutting production and manpower.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Handle and monitor gear cutting machines and operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets and work instructions.
- Monitor machine settings, tooling and cutting parameters.
- Check gear dimensions and coordinate with the Quality Department.
- Monitor rejection, rework and productivity.




- Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and problems.
- Allocate manpower and manage shift activities.
- Maintain production and shift reports.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and follow safety procedures.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the department.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, gauges and measuring instruments.

Required Skills:
- Valuable knowledge of gear cutting processes and machines.
- Knowledge of gear manufacturing and inspection.
- Good manpower handling and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand drawings and process specifications.
- Knowledge of 5S, safety and quality procedures.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
