Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer

Location: Nikol - Kathwada - Ahmedabad
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 CTC
Experience: 1–5 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop projects as per market requirements and management guidelines.
- Prepare and submit projects along with required reference documents within timelines.
- Modify existing products/projects with prior approval from the concerned authority.
- Verify manufacturing drawings, layouts, and BOMs before release, including tolerance, views, surface treatment, title blocks, weight, costing, and quantity.
- Provide technical support to various departments to ensure machines are built as per design specifications.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Ensure accurate execution of ERP BOMs across various departments.
- Prepare checklists and SOPs for Design Department activities.
- Calculate design factors such as tolerance, fits,



dimensions, and material strength.
- Develop designs according to company procedures, regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare monthly design department review reports.
- Coordinate with different departments to identify process and system improvements.
- Maintain and update engineering records, designs, and technical documents.
- Implement design changes through proper approval and validation procedures.
- Monitor team activities and support team development.
- Handle customer complaints and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) where required.
- Guide and train junior/subordinate team members when required.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.
