Role Overview
The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic thought partner to the CXO and play a pivotal role in driving business priorities across functions. This role requires strong stakeholder management, sharp business judgment, and the ability to operate seamlessly between strategy and execution. The individual will work closely with leadership teams across category, supply chain, product, tech, finance, brand partnerships, and operations to ensure alignment, speed, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & CXO Office Support
- Act as an extension of the CXO, owning preparation, follow-ups, and execution of key strategic initiatives.
- Drive business reviews, OKRs, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
- Translate high-level strategy into actionable plans across teams.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with category, brand partnerships, supply chain, product, tech, operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of priorities.
- Identify interdependencies, unblock issues, and drive closure on cross-functional initiatives.
- Enable faster decision-making through structured problem solving and transparent communication.
Stakeholder & Brand Management
- Manage senior internal stakeholders and represent the CXOs office in critical discussions.
- Support brand-level discussions and negotiations alongside category and partnerships teams.
- Ensure alignment between brand objectives and Superstores commercial and operational goals.
Business Planning & Execution
- Support annual and quarterly business planning, growth initiatives, and new launches.
- Track performance metrics, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive special projects such as new category expansion, pricing models, supply chain improvements, or retailer experience initiatives.
Governance & Communication
- Establish strong operating rhythms (weekly reviews, monthly business reviews, leadership forums).
