Role Description
The Civil Engineer will work on-site in Goa, India in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, planning,



and execution of infrastructure and development projects aligned with Pragyan’s impact-focused mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and specifications; conducting site assessments and surveys; and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The Civil Engineer will coordinate with project managers, government stakeholders, contractors, and community partners to oversee construction activities, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues in the field. The role also involves performing quality checks, documenting project status, preparing technical reports, and contributing to cost estimates and resource planning. In addition, the Civil Engineer will support data-driven decision-making by integrating engineering insights with program design, impact evaluation, and capacity-building initiatives.
