Role & responsibilities

The Plant Manager Herbal Extraction and Nutraceutical is a full-time, on-site role based in Udham Sing Nagar, Uttarakhand.

This role oversees end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, herbal extraction processes, nutraceutical manufacturing, and daily supervision of shop-floor activities.

Responsibilities -

1. Managing production schedules, monitoring equipment performance, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and optimizing resource utilization.

2. The Plant Manager will lead and develop the operations team, coordinate with quality, procurement, and maintenance functions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

3. The role also involves maintaining documentation related to ISO, FSSAI, WHO GMP, HCCP etc,

4. Reporting key performance indicators, and supporting new product scale-up and process validation.

5. Optimize , calculating production cost, benchmark cost idea

Preferred candidate profile




- Solid expertise in Plant Management and Plant Operations within herbal extraction, nutraceutical, or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated skills in Operations Management and Production Planning, including scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
- Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Operations, with a focus on process control, equipment handling, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- In-depth understanding of herbal extraction techniques, nutraceutical processing, and relevant regulatory and GMP requirements.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with proficiency in using production and reporting tools
