Analyst / Senior Analyst JD_Commercial Lending Operations - Quality Control (Banking Operations)

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to support Commercial Loan Operations, with a strong focus on validating loan setup and ongoing servicing parameters within mainframe-based commercial loan systems. This role involves comprehensive review of loan agreements, verification of complex system configurations, and accurate calculation of interest and billing components across a broad range of commercial loan products.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience interpreting loan documentation, working with mainframe loan platforms, and applying strong analytical skills to ensure loans are boarded and serviced in full compliance with contractual obligations and SOX requirements. The role also includes conducting quality reviews of peer work to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct quality reviews of Commercial Lending transactions, including loan servicing, collateral management, lien release, documentation review, post-closing activities,



and related operational processes
- Evaluate transactions against established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify operational, compliance, and customer-impacting errors
- Ensure adherence to internal quality frameworks and audit requirements
- Review and analyse commercial loan agreements to extract critical financial, pricing, and servicing terms
- Validate that loan terms are accurately set up and maintained on mainframe commercial loan systems in accordance with executed agreements
- Apply knowledge of various commercial loan products, including Term Loans, SBA Loans, Call Option Loans, Construction-to-Permanent Loans, Revolving Lines of Credit, and Part-Bought/Syndicated Loans

Preferred Qualifications

- Solid critical-thinking skills with the ability to apply logical reasoning.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or a related field.
- Prior experience in Commercial Lending Operations, including Loan Origination Setup and Loan Syndication.
- Flexibility to work across different shift timings.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight SLA timelines.
