Job Description

DS Global Wealth is looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Operations Manager to oversee mutual fund operations and ensure smooth and timely execution of investment transactions.

The role will involve SIP setup and tracking, purchase /redemption /switch transactions, investor onboarding, transaction processing, reconciliation, compliance checks, portfolio reporting, and coordination with NSE and other investment platforms.

The candidate will work closely with clients, investment advisors, distributors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of mutual fund transactions while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding

- Investor onboarding and account setup
- KYC and documentation coordination
- Client and advisor query handling
- Pre-transaction documentation and compliance checks

2. Mutual Fund Transactions

- Purchase, redemption, and switch transactions
- SIP registration, modification, cancellation, and mandates
- Processing and tracking of all mutual fund transactions
- Monitoring pending transactions and ensuring timely execution and closure

3. AMC / NSE / Platform Coordination:

- Coordination with AMCs for transaction processing and issue resolution
- Coordination with NSE and other mutual fund/investment platforms
- Liaison with clients, advisors, AMCs, platforms, and internal teams
- Resolution of operational and transaction-related queries

4. Portfolio & Investment Operations

- Portfolio management and investment operations support
- Monitoring NAV updates and transaction status
- Maintaining investment and transaction-related records
- Supporting other investment-related operational activities

5. MIS & Reporting

- Portfolio statement generation and maintenance
- Transaction reports and MIS preparation
- Maintaining accurate operational and investment records
- Tracking and reporting transaction status

6. Reconciliation & Operational Controls

- Daily transaction reconciliation




- Verification of transaction and operational data accuracy
- Identification and resolution of operational discrepancies
- Ensuring timely closure of exceptions and pending items

7. Compliance & Process Management

- Compliance and documentation checks before transaction processing
- Adherence to internal processes, controls, and regulatory requirements
- Maintenance of required operational and compliance records
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution of all activities

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years of experience in Mutual Fund Operations, Wealth Management, Broking, Financial Services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products and transaction processes.
- Knowledge of SIP, SWP, STP, purchase, redemption, and switch transactions.
- Familiarity with NSE/NMF and other investment platforms will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of KYC, compliance, and transaction documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, advisors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within strict timelines.

Qualifications

- Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant experience in mutual fund operations or wealth management will be preferred.
