We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can operate across the full stack backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps — while also staying current with AI-assisted development practices. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who can both write production-grade code and bring engineering discipline (SDLC, structured deployments, runbooks) to the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js
- Develop responsive, performant frontend applications using React.js
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.)
- Leverage AI-based development tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate development, code review, and debugging workflows
- Own infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Manage version control and code review workflows via GitHub
- Track and manage work using Jira, following proper SDLC practices (sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, QA cycles)
- Define, document, and enforce deployment processes across Dev, UAT, and Production environments
- Create and maintain runbooks for deployments, rollbacks, and incident response
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with product/business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required Skills





- Strong backend development experience in Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and Node.js (Express/NestJS)
- Solid frontend experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component architecture)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
- Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants in a professional dev workflow
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodology, and Jira-based project tracking
- Experience designing and maintaining multi-environment deployment strategies (Dev UAT Prod)
- Ability to write explicit, actionable runbooks and operational documentation
- Strong debugging, code review, and system design skills

Good to Have

- Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS)
- Exposure to monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog)
- Prior experience leading a small dev team or mentoring juniors
- Experience working in a startup/fast-paced product environment
