Master Trainer & Field Support Trainer (FST) Rajasthan (Jaipur / JVVNL circles)

About the programme

ExcelR Edtech is delivering a large-scale, on-ground training and adoption programme for a Rajasthan based Power Distribution company, covering ~6,000 employees across all 12 distribution circles of Rajasthan the majority of them linemen. Training is bilingual (Hindi / Marwari and English), hands-on, and delivered in the field in three sequential blocks. We are hiring two field-facing roles below. Both are fixed-term, Rajasthan-based, and involve travel within assigned circles.

1. Master Trainer (Lead Trainer / Training Coordinator)

Role: Master Trainer classroom & field delivery lead

Location: Assigned JVVNL circle(s), Rajasthan; mobile across locations within the circle

Reports to: Project Manager / PMU (Jaipur)

Engagement: Fixed-term contract(6-8 Months).

Role purpose

Own the delivery of role-based App training on the ground turning attendance into genuine, verified platform adoption. Master Trainers are the certified, credible face of the programme in the circle: they run the sessions, drive the 90% adoption outcome, spot and enable local Champions, and mentor the Field Support Trainers.

Key responsibilities

- Get certified first. Attend and clear the platform provider’s Train-the-Trainer (ToT) and achieve full platform mastery before delivery begins.
- Deliver the training. Run bilingual, role-specific sessions for the six roles (Lineman, Feeder In-charge, JEN, AEN, XEN, SE) — informal, chaupal-style, hands-on, with batches of 12–15 at ~3–4 sessions/week.




- Teach on real data. Have trainees practise on their own feeder data and devices, indexing real DTs and consumers rather than sitting through slides.
- Drive the outcome. Administer assessments (80% score + verified platform entries) and feedback; work toward the 90% “successfully trained” target, not just attendance.
- Build the peer layer. Identify, crown and coach local Champions (Kshetra Pratinidhi); enable peer co-delivery and run the gamified engagement (leaderboards, WhatsApp groups).
- Leave no one behind. Run private, hands-on remediation and oral/practical re-assessment for those who struggle.
- Mentor & report. Guide the Field Support Trainers in the circle; maintain delivery quality; report progress and issues to the PMU.

Required qualifications & experience

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years, ideally in training delivery and/or power-distribution / DISCOM operations.

Essential skills

- Bilingual delivery — fluent Hindi / Marwari and working English; a confident, engaging facilitator with adult-learning instincts.
- Field credibility — able to command respect from linemen and officers alike; comfortable in office, not just in a classroom.
- Digitally fluent — comfortable with smartphone apps and demoing software live.
- Mobile — willing to travel and stay within the assigned circle for the block duration.

Preferred

- Prior JVVNL / Rajasthan DISCOM exposure; experience with GIS / asset-indexing or utility software; a track record of training frontline field staff.
