Job Purpose

To manage the complete payroll process and ensure accurate, timely and legally compliant salary processing for employees and workers across the organisation. The position will also be responsible for statutory labour-law compliances, monthly returns, employee records, audits and coordination with government authorities and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities1. Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees and workmen.
- Collect and verify attendance, leave, overtime, shift and incentive data.
- Process salary, deductions, arrears, incentives, bonus and other payroll components.
- Ensure accurate computation of gross salary, net salary and statutory deductions.
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll reports and salary statements.
- Coordinate with Accounts for timely salary disbursement.




- Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain complete and confidential payroll records.

2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance under applicable labour and employment laws.
- Manage PF/EPFO, ESIC, Qualified Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, TDS and other applicable statutory deductions/returns.
- Prepare and submit monthly/periodic statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory contributions and maintain challans and acknowledgements.
- Maintain employee statutory records, registers and documentation.
- Monitor changes in applicable labour laws, rules, notifications and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, auditors and government departments during inspections and audits.

3. PF & ESIC Administration
- Manage employee PF and ESIC registration and related documentation.
