Do not submit candidates whose experience is primarily in z/OS, Java, .NET, or COBOL only, without clear hands-on IBM Assembler and VSE/DOS experience.

We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Assembler Developer with strong hands-on experience inIBM Assembler Language (HLASM/Assembler) and the VSE/DOS environment. The role involves development, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and production support of business-critical mainframe applications.

The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of mainframe application development experience, with recent and substantial hands-on work in IBM Assemblernot only exposure or support experience.

Candidates must meet all the following requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on development and production support experience for mainframe applications.
- Strong, recent hands-on programming experience in IBM Assembler Language / HLASM mandatory.
- Strong experience with VSE/DOS — mandatory.




- Hands-on experience with:
- COBOL
- CICS
- VSAM
- Easytrieve
- JCL / job scheduling and batch processing
- Experience using VSE/mainframe utilities and tools such as SyncSort, IDCAMS, CECI, CEDF, FTP, or similar tools.
- Experience in application enhancement, maintenance, debugging, production issue resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Experience supporting production systems, including on-call support where required.
- Strong comm skills
