Walter Bushnell is establishing a dedicated API commercial division.

We are seeking an agile, high-performing mid-level Business Development skilled to spearhead revenue growth across domestic and global markets. This individual will work hand-in-hand with our newly onboarded Strategic Consultant to deploy the global GTM strategy, manage key customer accounts, and drive direct business development.

Key Responsibilities

A. Global & Domestic Business Development
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively identify and engage formulation manufacturers, generic pharma players, and innovators in India, the US, and emerging markets.
- US/Regulated Market Outreach: Navigate the complexities of selling to regulated spaces, utilizing available DMFs (Drug Master Files) to pitch to high-value international buyers.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire B2B sales cyclefrom initial inquiry and sending samples/tech-packs to managing regulatory clearances and closing commercial contracts.

B. Marketing & Portfolio Placement
- Product Positioning:



Execute product marketing initiatives aligned with therapeutic trends under the guidance of the API consultant.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and changing regulatory landscapes (FDA, CEP, etc.) to feedback intelligence to the strategy team.

C. Strategic Account Management & Operations
- Interim Execution: Collaborate directly with the Interim Consultant to break down the 3-year strategic roadmap into monthly sales and marketing targets.
- Client Retention: Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring smooth supply chains, technical support resolution, and repeat orders.

Candidate Qualification & Previous Experience

To effectively execute cross-border API deals and seamlessly collaborate with a senior consultant, the ideal candidate should possess the following credentials:
- Education: B.Pharma / B.Sc (Chemistry) or B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) is mandator
