Tanker Vessel Operator
to join our dynamic Operations team and oversee the end-to-end management of tanker vessels carrying
Vegetable Oil and Biofuel cargoes
.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tanker Vessel Operator, you will be responsible for:

✅ Managing and monitoring all phases of tanker voyage operations, including loading, discharge, and bunkering activities.

✅ Coordinating closely with Vessel Masters, Ship Owners, Terminal Operators, and Agents to ensure safe, efficient, and timely cargo operations.

✅ Ensuring full compliance with Charter Party (CP) agreements and all applicable maritime regulations.

✅ Monitoring vessel performance and analyzing voyage profitability through accurate Voyage P&L; reporting.

✅ Collaborating with internal teams including Trading, Chartering, Claims, and Accounting to ensure seamless trade execution.

✅ Maintaining accurate voyage records and supporting freight calculations, demurrage settlements, and claims management.





Requirements

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Business, Shipping Management, or a related field.
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in Tanker Operations, Laytime, or a similar shipping operations role.
- Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of tanker charter parties (both Voyage Charter and Time Charter).
- Knowledge of tanker vessel types and cargoes, particularly Vegetable Oils and Biofuels.
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices, including
FOSFA
and
INCOTERMS
.
- Solid coordination, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with
IMOS
and
SEDNA
systems.
- Experience handling freight calculations, demurrage, and claims administration.
