Crator is Looking for:
Crator Labs is building a lovable, AI-powered ERP platform on top of ERPNext — helping SMBs implement, customize, and run their own ERP without needing a vendor. We're at an exciting inflection point: shipping 2–3 features a day, onboarding paying customers fast, and now ready to bring in our first dedicated QA hire.
You will be the
first and only QA person
at Crator — owning quality end-to-end for our platform's chat interface and AI agent workflows. No playbook to inherit. You build it.
- What you'll test: Crator's web-based SaaS platform — the AI agent chat interface, front-end UI flows, agent orchestration behaviour, and UX consistency across features
- Regression ownership: Take over daily staging regression from the co-founder (currently 1–1.5 hrs/day) and do it more comprehensively
- Bug reporting: Catch and clearly document front-end bugs, layout issues, broken flows, and agent misbehaviour before (or shortly after) they reach customers
- Feature testing: For larger features (4-day sprints), run structured testing on staging before production merge
- User empathy: Think from the perspective of an SMB business owner using an ERP — not a developer — when designing test scenarios
- Process building: Gradually establish lightweight QA processes, test case documentation, and a regression checklist as the product matures
- Must Haves
- 2–5 years of functional and UI testing experience on a SaaS product
- Hands-on experience testing AI-powered products or AI agent workflows
- Experience owning regression testing end-to-end
- Early-stage startup background
