Finance Analyst Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing meaningful insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, business performance, revenue, and expenses.
- Prepare MIS, financial reports, and management dashboards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key financial trends.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and analytical reports as required.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect and validate financial information.
- Identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.




- Provide data-driven insights to management for business decision-making.
- Support finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial data analysis.
- Understanding of financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data.
- Valuable communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / equivalent qualification

Experience

0-3 Years

Freshers with strong analytical skills and good knowledge of MS Excel are also encouraged to apply.
