About the Role
We are looking for a
full-time Assistant Professor – Human Resources
to teach and mentor MBA/PGDM students. The candidate should have solid knowledge of core and contemporary HR practices and the ability to connect academic concepts with real-world industry applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach HR subjects to MBA/PGDM students using practical examples, case studies and industry applications.
- Mentor students on academics, internships, projects and career development.
- Design course content, assessments, presentations and learning activities.
- Guide students for HR careers, placements and professional development.
- Stay updated with current HR trends, technology and industry practices.
- Participate in academic activities, workshops, seminars and research initiatives.
Subjects / Areas of Expertise
Candidates should be comfortable teaching
multiple areas
such as:
HRM | Strategic HR | Talent Acquisition | Performance Management | L&D; | Compensation & Benefits | Employee Engagement | Talent Management | Employee Relations & Labour Laws | Organizational Behaviour & Development | HR Analytics / People Analytics | Digital HR & AI in HR
Knowledge of HRMS/HRIS platforms such as
Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, Keka, PeopleStrong
etc. will be an added advantage.
Candidate Profile
- MBA/PGDM/Master’s degree in
HR / Human Resources / Management
.
- Prior teaching experience at MBA/PGDM level preferred.
- Candidates with relevant
corporate HR experience
and strong academic orientation may also apply.
- Excellent communication, presentation and mentoring skills.
- Strong understanding of current HR practices and industry trends.
- PhD / UGC-NET / SET
will be an added advantage.
