We are looking for a skilled CMM Operator to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for accurate inspection and measurement of mechanical components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program CMM machines for dimensional inspection.
- Perform accurate measurements of components using CMM equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and inspection standards.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain measurement records.
- Identify dimensional deviations and coordinate with the production and quality teams.
- Perform routine checks and ensure proper calibration of measuring equipment.
- Maintain CMM machine and ensure safe working practices.
- Follow company quality procedures and ISO standards.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of CMM operation and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Basic knowledge of CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar.
- Positive attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
