Nayi Disha began in 2015 with one belief: family caregivers are the true changemakers in the lives of their children. It is a non-profit that uses technology to walk alongside families of children with autism, Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering verified information, guidance and community in the moments when families feel most alone. Over the last ten years it has reached more than 6,00,000 people across India and built a community of over 48,000 families through a mobile-first, multilingual platform. Its work brings together parents, doctors, educators, non-profits and government services so that support does not depend on where a family lives or what language they speak. This role sits within Nayi Disha's Outreach department, which carries the organisation's work directly into villages and homes.

Role

The Field Coordinator will lead the ground implementation of Saarthi,



a project that builds early support systems for caregivers of children aged 0 to 3.5 years who have developmental delays or are at risk of them. Working in low-resource settings, the Coordinator oversees field activities across assigned villages, supports and supervises frontline workers who deliver home-based development support, and builds the village-level relationships that keep the project running smoothly. The role reports to the Operations Lead and involves daily travel to project locations.

Responsibilities
- Lead community mobilisation and awareness camps on child development milestones and the importance of early intervention.
- Engage with community leaders and families to build trust and long-term collaboration.
