Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer-BESS (Renewables) to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.
- Lead electrical design for BESS and renewable projects (FEED, detailed design,



assurance).
- Design the BESS balance of plant (BOP) systems.
- Develop grid connection solutions (11kV–400kV) for energy storage and renewables.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver creative solutions.
- Work on large projects and frameworks with renewable energy generation developers, mostly in UK and Ireland but also with some global projects.
- Undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED), design for planning, feasibility studies etc. of energy storage systems including associated grid connections, control and metering.
- Support the team with bidding, project and quality management.

- Previous experience with consultancy, contractor, equipment manufacturer or electrical utility in the energy sector. Suitable experience as FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engine
