Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Paint Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in QC testing within paints/coatings industry.
- Knowledge of ASTM/ISO paint testing standards.
- Hands-on experience with Paint testing equipment's such as Viscometers, gloss meters, DFT Meter & Analytical Instrument such as Gas chromatography , KF Moisture Analyzer, Auto Titrator, Color Spectrophotometer
Job Purpose
- Ensure testing and approval of received samples of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) as per defined customer specifications.
- Conduct paint sample testing in line with national/international standard test methods.
- Issue standardized test reports to customers.
- Participate in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Studies.
- Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Technology (MT) teams for Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) of internal quality incidents through lab experiments.
- Actively support RCFA of customer complaints by conducting laboratory experiments.
- Work in Shifts with shift team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement inspection plans for incoming materials and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with specifications for all released materials and products.
- Conduct trend analysis of finished goods test results to identify patterns and improvements.
- Maintain calibration and upkeep of QC laboratory equipment.
- Provide final shade approval for finished goods prior to dispatch.
- Provie final batch sample approval
