Role & responsibilities

Own end-to-end exhibitor acquisition for Global Food Pro 2027 an international food processing exhibition (1315 May 2027, BIEC, Bengaluru) backed by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
- Take ownership of qualified leads handed off from our tele calling partner and drive them through the full sales funnel: Contacted Interested Proposal Sent Booked
- Manage outreach to a pre-researched database of 700+ target companies across 17 food-processing sectors, including national anchor brands and Karnataka-based priority accounts
- Prepare and negotiate exhibition space and sponsorship proposals tailored to each prospect
- Conduct client calls, video demos, and in-person meetings to close bookings
- Coordinate with for site visits and local company outreach across Karnataka
- Maintain accurate funnel tracking and report weekly on calls made, conversions, and blockers by sector
- Build relationships with industry associations and trade bodies to support outreach and referrals




- Represent the organization professionally with senior stakeholders, including large FMCG and food-industry brands

Preferred candidate profile
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in exhibition, trade fair, sponsorship, or event sales
- Proven track record of closing B2B deals and managing a sales pipeline independently
- Confident communicator, comfortable pitching to senior decision-makers (CXOs, marketing heads, business owners)
- Robust follow-through — able to manage a high-volume funnel without losing deals to inactivity
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru; role is office-based with regular local travel
- Working knowledge of CRM/tracker-based sales processes
- Prior exposure to the food processing, FMCG, packaging, or industrial B2B space is a plus, though not mandatory
- Self-starter who can operate with a lean team and limited hand-holding
