Job Description

• Monitor and ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and other applicable financial sector laws

• Review and update internal policies, lending agreements, and customer-facing documents to reflect regulatory changes

• Assist in drafting and vetting loan agreements, privacy policies, terms & conditions, and other legal documents

• Support the team during regulatory audits, inspections, and due diligence processes

• Track changes in laws related to digital lending, data privacy (DPDP Act), and consumer protection and flag relevant updates

• Coordinate with internal teams (product, operations, credit) to embed compliance requirements into workflows

• Maintain compliance registers, trackers, and reporting dashboards

• Handle customer grievance escalations that involve legal or regulatory implications

• Assist in filing returns and reports to regulators as required
