Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality Continental dishes for café operations while maintaining consistent taste, food quality, hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of Continental dishes, including pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, and breakfast items
- Develop and execute café menus as per customer preferences and business requirements
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and quality
- Prepare food as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Monitor freshness and quality of ingredients
- Coordinate with the Café Manager, Baristas, and service team for smooth operations
- Manage daily mise en place and ensure timely food preparation
- Monitor food costs, portion control, wastage, and inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment
- Follow FSSAI and food safety standards
- Train and supervise Commis and kitchen helpers
- Assist in developing current dishes and seasonal menu items

Skills Required:




- Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine
- Good understanding of cooking techniques and food presentation
- Expertise in pasta, pizza, sandwiches, salads, soups, and café-style dishes
- Knowledge of food costing and portion control
- Strong kitchen management and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment

Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in Continental cuisine
- Experience as a Café Chef / CDP / Demi Chef preferred

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in cafés, bistros, restaurants, hotels, resorts, or QSRs
- Exposure to modern café menus, specialty dishes, and menu development is an added advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
