Job Title: Business Development Manager – Steel Industry

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and growing new business opportunities within the steel market. This role focuses on expanding customer accounts, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth across products such as structural steel, flat products, long products, or specialty steels. The position requires strong industry knowledge, customer relationship skills,



and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, automotive, energy, or other steel-consuming sectors
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, fabricators, contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers
- Analyse market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity within the steel industry
- Develop sales strategies and growth plans aligned with production capacity and company objectives
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and customer profitability
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Forecast demand and support production planning and inventory mana
