Role & responsibilities

Production Monitoring
- Supervise production line workers to achieve daily/shift targets.
- Ensure line setup, start-up, and shutdown as per SOP.
- Monitor line efficiency, wastage, and downtime.

Quality & Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure products meet quality & safety standards.
- Conduct in-line checks for GMP, CCP, allergen, and hygiene compliance.
- Coordinate with QA/FSQ for product release decisions.

Manpower & Shift Management
- Allocate manpower on line as per requirement.
- Train workers on SOPs, hygiene, and safety.
- Maintain discipline and motivation on shop floor.

Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain production records, downtime logs, and shift reports.
- Report deviations, breakdowns, and incidents to management.

Continuous Improvement




- Identify areas of wastage and suggest improvements.
- Support initiatives in productivity, OEE, and cost optimization.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and use of PPE.

Report unsafe acts, accidents, and ensure corrective actions

Preferred candidate profile

To supervise production line operations ensuring adherence to production schedules, product quality, food safety, GMP, and worker safety. The Line Supervisor is responsible for achieving daily production targets, minimizing downtime, monitoring staff performance, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
