Role & responsibilities
- Must have 7+ yrs experience in Oracle PLSQL Development role.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, collections and views.
- Architect and optimize Oracle database solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Review and approve database design, data models, and SQL/PLSQL code.
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and Oracle tools.
- Guide and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and enforce best practices. Collaborate with application teams (Java/.NET/etc.) for database integration.
- Manage data migration, archival, and transformation activities.
- Handle production issues, root cause analysis, and performance bottleneck resolution. Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance standards are met.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
