Senior Engineer – CFD | Combustion & Reactive Flow

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior CFD Engineer with strong experience in combustion, reactive flows, multiphase flows and turbulent flow modelling to support the design and development of gas turbine and combustion systems.





The candidate will be responsible for independently setting up and executing CFD simulations, interpreting complex flow and combustion results, identifying performance improvement opportunities, and providing engineering recommendations for system and component design.

The role involves working closely with design, thermal, testing and global engineering teams on complex gas turbine, combustor and turbomachinery applications.

Key Responsibilities

CFD Modelling & Simulation
- Independently perform CFD simulations for reactive, multiphase and turbulent flows in gas turbine and combustion applications.
- Develop appropriate CFD models including geometry preparation, computational domain definition, mesh generation, boundary conditions and solver setup.
- Conduct simulations for combustion, cooling, heat transfer, flow mixing and reacting flow applications.
- Apply appropriate modelling approaches for non-reactive and reactive flows based on the engineering problem.
