We are looking for a
Safety Officer

who can take ownership of site safety, strengthen safety practices across contractors and work crews, and ensure that safety remains a priority at every stage of construction.

You’ll be an active presence on our
Ludhiana hospital project

, working closely with the project, engineering, contractor, and site teams.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the responsibility and authority to
identify risks, prevent unsafe practices, drive compliance, and build a strong safety culture across the project site.

What Your Ideal Day Would Look Like
- Conduct daily site safety inspections,



identifying unsafe conditions and practices before they become incidents.
- Implement and monitor the Site Safety Plan, risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response procedures.
- Run toolbox talks, safety briefings, induction programs, and refresher training for workers and contractor teams.
- Verify PPE and safety protocols are in place before and during work — especially for high-risk activities like work at height, scaffolding, lifting and crane operations, electrical work, excavation, and MEP.
- Confirm safety measures are in place before high-risk work begins, and ensure identified hazards are closed out promptly.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend preventive action
- Maintain records for inspections, training, incidents, near-misses, permits, PPE, and corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with BOCW, labour, fire, electrical, and occupational safety requirements; support statutory i
