About the Role

Serveone India Private Limited is hiring an MD Professional to drive B2B sales, business development, and strategic customer management, in addition to core procurement and merchandising responsibilities. This is an expanded role for a candidate who can own the full commercial cycle — from customer acquisition to contract closing — while managing sourcing and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and acquire recent B2B customers across target industries.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct customer visits, lead sales meetings, and prepare and negotiate quotations.
- Drive commercial negotiations through to contract closing.




- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Handle end-to-end procurement and merchandising for assigned product categories.
- Develop and expand the supplier base in line with business requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and service quality.
- Track and report performance against key business metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of relevant experience, with proven B2B sales and customer relationship management experience (non-negotiable — pure procurement/merchandising backgrounds without direct sales ownership will not meet this requirement).
- Demonstrated experience managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, quotation, negotiation, closing.
- Prior experience in procurement and merchandising is required in addition to sales.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
