Responsibilities
• Teradata plant ownership and technical point of contact for all applications hosted on Teradata Warehouse
• Responsible for new application on-boarding by reviewing requirement and design.
• Assist existing and new applications to come up with most optimized and suitable solutions for their requirement
• L3 point of contact for issues related to Teradata platform.
• Performance tuning and Capacity management
• New technology POC and suitability analysis for Teradata EDW
• Process optimization with the help of automation and new utility development
• Performance review of Teradata changes going into PROD
• Teradata workload management review to ensure SLA adherence for online/report queries
• Plan and execute system upgrade and enhancements

Required Skills
• Strong Analytical and Logical Reasoning ability
• Robust Teradata architecture and Development skills




• Should be familiar with the best practices and tricks around the Teradata tools and utilities tool
• Should have strong hands-on experience on Teradata performance tuning concepts
• Strong with SQL logic and different qualifiers usage
• Good UNIX knowledge
• Good Understanding of ETL / ELT
• Knowledge of DevOps, CICD, Automation
• Familiarity with Informatica, Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop and Tableau will be preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Must possess strong leadership skills and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create and maintain a positive environment of shared success.
• Ability to execute and prioritize a large number of tasks and resolve issues without aid from direct manager or project sponsor.Role & responsibilities
