Job Summary

What this job involves: As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for one of our key clients, overseeing all aspects of facilities operations to create secure, efficient, and inspiring work environments. You'll lead strategic planning and day-to-day management of building systems, vendor relationships, and service delivery to ensure seamless operations that support our clients business objectives. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance operational excellence with innovation, managing budgets, coordinating maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. What your day-to-day will look like
- Oversee all facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and building automation to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, evaluating performance and negotiating terms to deliver cost-effective solutions
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs that minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycles
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to thrive through coaching, development, and performance management
- Lead safety initiatives and conduct regular safety inspections, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for maintenance project
