Job Title: Welfare Officer
Department: HR / Administration
Reports To: HR Manager / Plant Head / Management

Job Summary:
The Welfare Officer is responsible for ensuring employee welfare, statutory compliance, workplace facilities, and employee engagement. The role acts as a bridge between employees and management and ensures that welfare-related requirements are properly addressed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and employee welfare provisions.
- Manage statutory welfare facilities such as canteen, drinking water, sanitation, rest rooms, first aid, transportation, and other employee amenities.
- Handle employee grievances and coordinate with management for timely resolution.
- Conduct regular welfare inspections and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Maintain welfare-related records, registers, notices, and documentation.
- Coordinate employee engagement, awareness, and welfare activities.
- Support HR in disciplinary matters, employee communication, and workplace relations.
- Liaise with government/labour authorities when required.




- Assist in ensuring compliance during labour department inspections.
- Coordinate with EHS/HR teams on health, safety, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Prepare welfare reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Support contract labour welfare and ensure required facilities are available.
- Promote a positive and healthy employee-management relationship.

Eligibility:
- Qualification : MSW
- Relevant experience in industrial/plant HR and employee welfare.
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Valuable communication, interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
