Role & responsibilities

About the Role
Mid-size broking firm (mutual funds, broking, PMS, insurance, wealth, corporate financing) rolling out DevOps version control, CI/CD, and secure release management on an isolated dev network, separate from UAT/Production. We need someone to own the implementation and drive team adoption.

Key Responsibilities
-Set up and administer self-hosted GitLab CE (source control, issue tracking, CI/CD)
-Build CI/CD pipelines for .NET/IIS and Flutter apps; automated UAT deploys, approval-gated Production releases
-Maintain network segmentation between dev and live environments (firewall rules, deploy-only accounts)
-Integrate security scanning (SAST, secret scan, SonarQube) and coordinate VAPT for client-facing releases
-Define branching strategy and merge request/code review workflow
-Set up backup/DR for the DevOps platform




-Train developers, QA, BA, and support staff on the new workflow

Required Skills
-4-5 years in DevOps / Build & Release / Infra Engineering
-GitLab CI/CD or similar (Jenkins); robust Git workflow knowledge
-.NET deployment to IIS; MSSQL schema deployment (DACPAC/sqlpackage)
-Networking/firewall basics; scripting (PowerShell/Bash)
-Familiarity with SAST/security scanning tools; Agile/Scrum basics

Good to Have
-BFSI/regulated environment experience
-Flutter build/release pipeline exposure
-Self-hosted (on-prem) tooling experience

Qualifications
-Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent experience; DevOps certifications a plus.
