We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with robust expertise in the Payments domain and extensive experience in UK Real-Time Payments initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and technology teams to deliver payment transformation and modernization programs. Hands-on experience in Real-Time Payments is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with business, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
- Create BRDs, User Stories, Process Flows, Functional Specifications, and Acceptance Criteria.




- Perform gap analysis and support solution design for payment transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support SIT/UAT, defect triage, and business sign-off activities.
- Ensure compliance with payment regulations and operational controls.
- Act as the liaison between business and technology teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within Banking and Financial Services.
- Mandatory: Extensive experience in UK Real-Time Payments.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Faster Payments (FPS)
- CHAPS
- BACS
- ISO 20022
- New Payments Architecture (NPA)
- SWIFT MT/MX Messaging
- Payment Hubs and Payment Orchestration
- Experience across payment processing lifecycle including routing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, investigations, and exception management.
