As the Team Leader (TL) for the Consumer Lighting Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the channel sales strategy. You will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of Sales Generation Specialists (SGSs) to achieve sales targets and ensure seamless channel operations. Your role will encompass strategic channel appointments, revenue collection, and close collaboration with distributors to resolve challenges and enhance performance. You will act as a key liaison between the Area Distributors (ADs), SGSs, and senior management to ensure that all sales objectives and reconciliation processes are met with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the appointment of Area Distributors (ADs) and Market Distributors (MDs) in line with the strategic sales plan, ensuring that the right partners are onboarded to expand market reach
- Drive channel sales by setting and achieving ambitious sales targets for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Conduct quarterly reconciliations with ADs, ensuring that all issues are resolved,



and a comprehensive report with 100% reconciliation, including dealer signatures, is submitted to senior management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all AD-related issues, providing support to resolve challenges efficiently and maintain solid distributor relationships
- Lead and support Sales Generation Specialists (SGSs) by working closely with them according to the predefined journey plan, ensuring that they meet their daily targets and sales objectives
- Oversee and guide SGSs in adhering to the Jaquar Way of Working, ensuring consistency in education, product knowledge, training, display management, and customer interactions
- Facilitate and monitor training sessions for SGSs, focusing on effective product displays, and customer engagement at distributor and retail counters
- Ensure SGSs effectively educate customers on product features, usage, and installation, maintaining
