Job Title and Overview
- Role: Higher Grade / PGT English Teacher
- Target Group: Higher secondary students (grades 6–9 or equivalent)
- Core Goal: Build strong reading comprehension, literary analysis, and advanced writing proficiency. [1, 2]

Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Delivery: Plan and teach comprehensive units on prose, poetry, drama, and grammar.
- Critical Thinking: Guide students to analyze complex texts and express structured arguments.
- Assessment: Create tests, grade assignments, and provide clear feedback to improve student performance.
- Mentorship: Support individual student progress and communicate regularly with parents. [, 4, 5]

Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or Bachelor's degree in English or Literature (MA) alongside a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior teaching experience at the high school or higher secondary level.
- Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English, classroom management, and student engagement.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
