Role Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who is passionate about journalism and digital media. You’ll help identify trending stories, create engaging social media content, and support the editorial team in publishing timely and accurate news.

Key Responsibilities

● Monitor breaking and trending news across sectors.

● Create engaging social media posts, reels, and news graphics.

● Write compelling captions, headlines, and short news summaries.

● Publish and update news stories on the website.

● Coordinate with writers, designers, and editors.





● Schedule and manage content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and other platforms.

● Track social media performance and identify content opportunities.

● Ensure accuracy, speed, and editorial quality across all published content.

Requirements

● Strong written English; Hindi is an added advantage.

● Passion for journalism, news, and digital media.

● Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.

● Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools is preferred.

● Valuable research, communication, and time-management skills.

● Students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
