Job Summary
The Sales Executive for Iron Making Sales is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships within the steel and metallurgical industries, promoting refractories in Iron Making units- Blast Furnace (Runner refractory, Tap Hole Clay, Shotcrete Repairs) identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Iron making , refractories used in Iron Making, market trends and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell refractory to Iron Making manufacturers in PSU(including RINL and NMDC), TATA Group and JSW Group
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations about product benefits and applications
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management




- Build long-term relationships with procurement teams, plant managers and decision-makers in steel plants
- Conduct regular client visits, plant surveys and technical discussions
- Address customer inquiries, complaints and quality concerns promptly.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor Iron ore, scrap, billet and steel market prices and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor offerings and identify market gaps.
- Prepare sales forecasts and market intelligence reports.
- Negotiation & Contract Management
- Prepare Techno-commercial offer against each enquiry and submit within timeline
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, logistics and supply agreements.
- Draft and manage sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with legal, finance and logistics teams for order execution.
