Srikara Hospitals is looking for an experienced Hospital Billing Executive with positive knowledge of Insurance Billing and Hospital Billing Processes.

Position

Billing Executive – Insurance & Hospital Billing

Qualification
- Any Graduate
- Candidates with a healthcare/hospital administration background will be preferred

Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital billing
- Hands-on experience in Insurance / Cashless / TPA Billing is mandatory

Key Responsibilities
- Handle IP, OP and discharge billing accurately and on time.
- Process insurance and cashless patient bills.
- Coordinate with Insurance Companies and TPAs for approvals and settlements.
- Verify insurance eligibility, policy coverage, limits and exclusions.
- Prepare and submit pre-authorisation, enhancement and final approval requests.
- Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics and other departments for billing closure.
- Verify tariffs, packages, consumables, medicines and procedure charges before final billing.
- Handle insurance queries,



deductions and claim-related clarifications.
- Follow up on pending approvals and rejected/short-settled claims.
- Maintain proper billing records and insurance documentation.
- Ensure bills are closed accurately without revenue leakage.
- Explain bills and insurance-related charges to patients and attendants when required.

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Hospital Billing
- Good knowledge of Insurance, TPA and Cashless Billing
- Understanding of pre-authorisation and claim-processing procedures
- Good computer and Hospital Information Management System skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage discharge billing timelines
