Key Responsibilities
- Analyse customer requirements and develop suitable automation concepts for robotic and conventional de/palletising, case packing, conveyors, and related systems.
- Prepare technical proposals, equipment specifications, layouts, scope of supply, and costing inputs.
- Perform engineering calculations related to cycle time, throughput, conveyor speed, pallet flow, robot payload, reach, and machine capacity.
- Develop and review equipment layouts considering integration, accessibility, safety, and maintenance requirements.
- Select suitable robots, grippers, conveyors, and other automation components based on application requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Electrical/Controls, Procurement, suppliers, and Project teams for technical development.
- Evaluate alternative solutions based on technical feasibility, performance, footprint, flexibility, and cost optimization.
- Support projects during engineering, installation, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting when required.
- Provide technical inputs for costing and preparation of commercial quotations.





Required Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in solution design, application engineering, industrial automation, packaging machinery, or material handling systems.
- Experience in developing technical solutions based on customer/application requirements.
- Understanding of industrial automation and machine/system integration.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, robotics, or packaging machinery will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
