Opening for Judo Coach

Job Location: Bandra, Mumbai

Brief about Aseema :
Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential.
It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West), The Pereirawadi Municipal School in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).

Key responsibilities:
- To prepare lessons plans systematically and submit on time.
- To include Judo and other range of sports activities in the curriculum.
- To teach in an experiential and interesting manner.
- To be responsible and ensure all sporting equipments are complete, maintained and stored in an organized manner.
- To train the children for the Annual Sports Day and to organize events for the same.
- To conduct health related physical fitness test (HRPF)



in beginning and end of the academic year.
- To record BMI on annual progress report card.
- To ensure that parents and School Head are informed in advance about sports competitions.
- To regularly attend meetings and training sessions organized.
- To coordinate regularly with the teachers for the children’s requirements.
- To assist in organizing events in the school in a systematic and creative manner.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Black belt in Judo with B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed.
- 1-2 years of teaching experience. Freshers can also apply.
- Proactive, team player with good English language skills.
