Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Hand instruments and materials to the dentist as needed
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and organized properly
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Take impressions of patients’ teeth for models
- Manage dental inventory and order supplies
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
