A Food and Beverage On Job Trainee -Steward is responsible to assist the senior steward inensuring that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-organized, servingfood and beverages to guests, and guests' needs and requests are met promptlyand efficiently. On job trainee is responsible for ensuring that all necessarycutlery, crockery, and glassware are available to the guests. It is alsoexpected to learn and follow all health and safety guidelines, includingmaintaining personal hygiene, ensuring food is stored properly, and maintaininga clean and sanitary work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome the guests by greeting them asper the standards. Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timelyand efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Serving food and drinks: assist in servingfood and drinks to guests. This includes taking orders, delivering food totables, and ensuring that guests have everything they need.





Learning the facilities of the hotel /casino and the daily events and functions in order to satisfy guest enquiries.

Handling guest requests andcomplaints: handle guest requests and complaints. This includes addressing anyissues they may have and providing them with a satisfactory solution.

Learning and following safety andhygiene procedures: required to learn and follow safety and hygiene proceduresto ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are safe and sanitary for guestsand staff.

Learning and following companypolicies: learn and follow the company policies and procedures, including thoserelated to dress code, attendance, and customer service standards.
- Attend training sessions to learn recent skills and improve existing ones.

Qualifications:
- Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in food service or hospitality may be preferred.
