Requirement Lead Power System Engineer
Overall exp – 10-12 years
Qualification Criteria- Engineering / Masters
Domain: Renewable (wind/ solar PV/ battery energy storage)
Mandatory Skills – Modelling various power system elements to perform steady state, transient and EMT studies,
Tool - PSS®E, Dig SILENT (need to have experience anyone of the tool)

Role Overview
Lead a team in conducting network studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis using industry-standard software. The role supports project design and grid-integration studies for renewable energy and energy storage systems, including protection coordination and planning for generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
JD
- Execute load flow, shortcircuit, harmonic, SteadyState, and energetic/transient stability studies for transmission and distribution networks.
Lead study planning, assign tasks, and ensure timely, highquality deliverables.
- Build and validate detailed models of generators, inverters, transformers, lines, loads, and protection devices in PSCAD, PSS®E, Dig SILENT Power Factory, ETAP, and MATLAB. Oversee model governance, review peer models, and maintain a validated model library.
- Perform the SLD for the use case defined by the PM to be incorporated within the tools.
- Build the model into dig silent, perform the test to ensure correctness of the model, support back-end team in the development of the python code interfacing the Power Tools UI with dissilient, validated the use case with the key user of Power Tool and the PM, propose way of amelioration to enhance the tools, etc.
