Key Responsibilities
Education & Training
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for newly joined nursing staff.
- Assess training needs and develop annual nursing education plans.
- Organize in-service education, workshops, seminars, and continuing nursing education (CNE) programs.
- Provide clinical teaching and bedside training to nursing staff.
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and competency checklists.
Competency Management
- Conduct competency assessments and skill evaluations.
- Monitor and maintain training records and competency files.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective training interventions.
- Support nurses in achieving clinical excellence and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Ensure adherence to nursing policies, protocols, NABH/JCI standards, and infection control guidelines.
- Assist in audits and accreditation-related educational activities.
Clinical Support
- Guide nursing staff in patient care procedures and clinical documentation.
- Mentor and coach nurses for professional growth.
- Support nursing units in implementing new clinical practices and technologies.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and educational reports.
- Prepare monthly training reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with departmental heads for specialized training requirements.
- Assist nursing administration in policy implementation and staff development initiatives.
