JD:

Deep hands-on expertise with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) on Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
Administration of domains, forests, sites, replication topology, and FSMO roles.
Management of DNS/DHCP, GPOs, OU structures, and delegation of control.
Skilled in troubleshooting replication issues, Kerberos/NTLM authentication, and SYSVOL consistency.
Experience managing AD-integrated DNS zones, conditional forwarders, and name resolution across multi-forest environments.
Proven experience supporting AD migration, restructuring, and separation projects (M&A;, divestitures, carve-outs).




Hands-on experience using tools such as ADMT, Quest Migration Manager for migrations.
Expertise in domain separation, trust creation, and cross-forest authentication.
Ability to assess and migrate users, groups, computers, and service accounts to recent AD environments.
Familiarity with application dependency mapping and coordination with application owners for authentication changes.
Experience executing cutover, rollback, and coexistence strategies with minimal downtime.
Knowledge of DNS reconfiguration, GPO migration, and login script transitions during domain moves.
