Job Summary

We are looking for a polite, organized, and responsible Blood Bank Receptionist to manage front-desk operations and provide administrative support within the blood bank. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with patients, blood donors, doctors, and blood bank staff while maintaining accurate records and strict confidentiality of patient and donor information.

Key Responsibilities
- Register and assist blood donors and patients at the reception/front desk.
- Handle incoming calls, enquiries, and general information requests.
- Maintain accurate records, registers, forms, and other documentation.
- Coordinate with patients, donors, doctors, technicians, and blood bank staff.
- Issue, collect, and verify required forms and documents.
- Guide donors and patients regarding the blood donation and transfusion process.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient and donor information.
- Support day-to-day administrative activities of the blood bank.




- Perform data entry and update information in hospital/blood bank software.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and qualified reception area.
- Escalate patient, donor, or administrative concerns to the appropriate staff when required.
- Perform other reception and administrative duties assigned by the management.

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with a background in healthcare, medical administration, hospital administration, or a related field will be preferred.

Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, blood bank, diagnostic laboratory, healthcare facility, or medical reception environment is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and administrative skills may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, data entry, email, and computer applications.
