As “Alternative Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting Lead” within our “Global Special Situations (GSS) Fund Controllers” , you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee quarter-end financial statements, GAAP adjustments, variance analysis, and asset/debt appraisals, providing direction on technical accounting.
- Serve as the technical accounting authority for IFRS and US GAAP, advising on complex accounting policy matters.
- Partner with GSS Finance leadership, the Investment Team, COO, Deal Support, and Marketing to translate portfolio activity into transparent financial insights.
- Deliver daily reporting for the GSS team (P&L;, cash, expenses), highlighting key drivers, trends, and portfolio impacts.
- Oversee accounting for portfolio companies,



including wholly owned fund subsidiaries and operating companies.
- Direct fund administrators and review their work to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.
- Manage preparation and reconciliation of quarterly NAVs, fund financial statements, commitments, and related fund accounting activities across vehicles.
- Review NAV pricing and performance metrics (TWRs, IRR, Equity Multiple) across multiple funds and investment vehicles.
- Lead financial reporting reconciliations, control execution, and process improvements, and analyze investment financial statements to identify trends and risks.
- Lead tax and regulatory reviews, prepare materials for valuation and risk committees, and support fund board meetings (packs and minutes).
- Coordinate audits and stakeholder queries, approve funding requests with appropriate documentation, and mentor Associates/Analysts while leading cross-functional initiatives.
