Role & responsibilities

Act as the technical point of contact for ADAS feature validation across cross-functional teams (Systems, Software, Hardware, Safety).

Review and sign off on requirements traceability matrices (RTM) and validation completion reports.

Identify, document, and track defects through the full lifecycle using JIRA.

Ncap requirements & homologation Knowledge

Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for critical failures and ensure effective corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile

Robust knowledge of ADAS sensor technologies: camera, radar , lidar, ultrasonic.

Proficiency in test tools: CANalyzer/CANoe, Vector tools, or equivalent.

Experience with SiL/HiL test environments

Capable to handle test target simulation (D-GPS & automated target platform).

Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay.

Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture, ECU integration

Working knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)

ADAS Feature Validation & Testing





Own and execute the validation strategy for ADAS features including but not limited to:

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) & Stop-and-Go

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) & Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

– Longitudinal Highway Pilot & Highway Hands-On / Hands-Off (Level 2+)

– Lane Keep Assist(LKA), Lane departure warning (LDW)

– Lane centring function (LCF)

– High beam Assist (HBA)

– Traffic sign recognition (TSR)

Define, review, and approve test plans, test cases, and test reports for feature-level and system-level validation.

Lead vehicle-level test & calibration.

Plan and execute validation drives on test tracks, proving grounds, and public roads as required.

Manage scenario-based testing using tools such as CANoe & CANape

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team for in vehicle ADAS validation engineers across all levels.

Define team objectives, allocate tasks, manage workload distribution, and track delivery milestones.
